The full court petition (48 pages) is available under Court Docs, but in the first few pages, the justification for this project is given. Again, for the record, I have no issues with the public safety aspect, or the placing of the new memorial. It is the forensic testing that involves the taking and subsequent destruction of pieces of the Leather Man’s remains to gather DNA evidence and learn more about him that I disagree with.
